Projects
Thank you for the interest in our organisation!
Cancer is the second leading cause of mortality worldwide, killing more people than AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria combined. Life expectancy is linked to the social environment where persons are born, live, grow, work and age.
The World Health Organisation has stressed that wealth alone is not sufficient to determine the health of citizens and that a majority of people in the world suffer from poor health due to a “toxic combination” of bad policies, economics and politics.
We argue that cancer control is both a developmental priority related to the right of every person to health care through access to an effective health care system, and a matter of human rights and human dignity.
Through these projects we aim to make sure our beneficiaries are afforded these rights with dignity.
